OnePlus Nord 2, the latest smartphone from OnePlus, is now getting another version of it. OnePlus is known for its special version of phones almost every year. But the only difference is that it used to release the special edition of that year’s flagship smartphone. This time it is the OnePlus Nord 2. The theme of this special edition smartphone is the Pac-Man game.
The announcement of this special edition Nord 2 Pac-Man edition came via Twitter. The company has started teasing the device using the special theme logo of Pac-Man. There are no further details regarding the design or specifications of the phone. As this is a special edition phone, there might be only a small change in the physical appearance to match the theme. We will definitely have special themed software to match the Pac-Man game theme. This is not the first special edition phone from OnePlus we have had McLaren edition smartphones in the past. The Last special Edition smartphone was a CyberPunk OnePlus 8T.
The pricing of this new OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man special edition smartphone is Rs. 37,999. This is 10,000 more than the base edition of the Nord 2 smartphone. The pricing is available on the Amazon dedicated page for the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition. We might expect the device to have 12GB RAM with a 256GB storage-only option. The micro page in the Amazon reads, “A fun, gamified smartphone experience featuring the timeless arcade legend Pac-Man.”
It is rumored that OnePlus might go back to the Snapdragon chipset in the special edition. The original OnePlus Nord 2 has the first MediaTek chipset from OnePlus specially designed for its Dimensity 1200AI. Now we might get Snapdragon 778G in the Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition. We are yet to get some more details about the device in the coming days.
