OnePlus Nord 2 5G, the latest addition from OnePlus to their Nord lineup, has been in News since the launch. Apart from the launch details, pricing, sales, and review, the phone has been in the news for its blasts or explosions. In the past month, there were a total of three incidents reported on Twitter regarding the explosion of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. In these claims, one seems to be fake and has been removed after a few hours.
The first explosion was reported in Bengaluru by women OnePlus after an investigation has said that the explosion was due to external factors and not any manufacturing defect. After that, a few days back, a lawyer in Delhi reported an explosion of OnePlus Nord 2 5G in his gown. He said that the phone had exploded even though it was not in use nor while charging. After the blast and posting the news on Twitter, OnePlus tried to reach him and find out the root cause of the explosion.
Gaurav refusing to hand over the phone for diagnosis of the issue has lead OnePlus to fire back. Mobitech Creations Pvt. Ltd, the company that is responsible for OnePlus marketing in India, has sent this claim. As shared by Gaurav on Twitter, the lawsuit mentions that he has given false statements with malicious and mala fide intent. They also asked him to remove the Tweet from his profile and also asked him to provide an unconditional written apology letter. He should also go on an undertaking not to post anything negative about the company or its products even in the future.
