Samsung has announced a surprise event — Galaxy Unpacked Part 2, scheduled for October 20, 2021. I meant when I call it a surprise. Several industries have been facing a semiconductor shortage; Samsung is one of them. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is one of the most anticipated and most talked-about smartphones of 2021. It was expected to launch alongside the Z Flip and Z fold series in August Unpacked, but it didn’t show up. Later, a multitude of rumors claimed mixed opinions on the phone’s launch; some say it was canceled due to chip shortage, and some suggested it is postponed. Meanwhile, in the middle of all these mixed opinions and confusion about the phone’s launch, Samsung showed up, inviting all of us to Part 2 of the Galaxy Unpacked event. Hell yeah, that’s a surprise!
The Galaxy Unpacked 2021 Part 2 event is a virtual event scheduled for October 20, 2021, at 10 AM ET / 7:30 PM IST. You can watch the event live by streaming via Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube Channel.
In the event invite, Samsung says, “Our users are multifaceted and live life in so many colorful, interesting, and unique ways. As such, the technology they use every day should reflect their individuality. Join Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 on October 20 to see how Samsung is opening up new experiences for self-expression through technology.”
What to Expect?
The event is so unexpected, and a surprise that no one knows what’s coming, and no leaks are ever revealed. Some rumors suggest that we can expect Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy S21 FE.
Well, Galaxy S21 FE’s launch is still in the air, and some recent reports claim the date is postponed to January 2022. We’ll talk about it more briefly in the very next article.
Putting all the rumors aside, I’m just watching the video invitation published officially by Samsung. I can see more colors there, and it looks more like a Flip. As the Z Flip 3 is such a huge success, and foldables have always been Samsung’s path to the future, I believe the South Korean company might introduce new colors of Z Flip 3 to the market. And maybe some new added features too, to increase the usability and accessibility of applications in foldables. Yes, It’s what I’m assuming for now; let’s wait and see what Samsung is bringing for us.
So, that’s been it. Thank you for reading, and do share the article if you get a bit piece of information. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
