There were rumours earlier that Samsung is planning to bring the S Pen to other Galaxy devices. And the data from FCC proves that this is true. The listing in the FCC confirms that the S Pen can be used with the upcoming Samsung S21 Ultra. This is first found by the Andriod Authority that comes in with a model number SMG998B.

Samsung Mobile president also in a recent statement mentions that “all the loved features of the Note will be coming to other devices in 2021”. This statement adds more confirmation to the listing found in the FCC.

Samsung S Pen in FCC listing

The report from the FCC shows the EUT(Equipment Under Test) device that can be used with a stylus device(S Pen). The operating range of the S Pen is between 0.53 – 0.6MHz and has two different inductive coupling modes i.e. Hover and Click. And the EUT device will be continuously transmitted to the S-Pen in both two modes.

The listing also shows the connectivity features of the new Samsung S21 that will include 5G (n5, n66 ), 802.11b/g/n/ax WLan, Bluetooth, NFC, Wireless Charging. Samsung should be giving clarity on UWB regarding that. Samsung Galaxy S21 will be having a new Exynos 2100 SoC that will compete with the Snapdragon 888. Recently a score of Exynos has been leaked, the score is more than the fastest Snapdragon 888. As per the tipster, the Exynos 2100 SoC received a single-core score of 1,108 and a multi-core score of 3,963. Whereas the score by the Snapdragon 888 got average single-core and multi-core scores of 1,135 and 3,794, respectively.
