Samsung iTest lets iPhone users experience One UI based on Android

Samsung iTest is a new interactive application that lets iPhone users experience One UI based on Android OS. iTest basically emulates Android OS (One UI skinned) by adding an app on the users’ iPhone that gives them “a little taste of Samsung.”

According to MacRumors, the iTest website is being advertised in New Zealand. But iPhone users worldwide can test it by visiting the iTest website. We can expect Samsung may promote it globally soon. However, this website works only on iPhone devices. For instance, it merely works on iPhone 7 and later versions.

“You’re about to get a little taste of Samsung, without changing phones. We can’t replicate every function, but you should quickly see that there’s nothing daunting about switching to the other side”

Do it in 3 Steps

  1. Visit the iTest website, click on share and add the web app to your iPhone’s home screen.
  2. Now, you will find the “Samsung iTest” application on your home screen.
  3. That’s all of it; you can now launch the app and surf through Samsung’s One UI.

Before you try it, you can go through these screenshots below to get an idea of how it looks like.

There is a simulation of phone calls you can get, as well as a series of messages, to know about Galaxy features and how it looks like. There are several tips that pop up to walk you through while you navigate through the interface. Also, there is a Galaxy Wearable app that lists all the Samsung Wearables; Sammy just shows you the alternatives if you need them.

One more worth mention, the simulations also have a Samsung Game Launcher that highlights Fornite, which is unavailable for iPhone users right now. Sammy, that’s kind of a bummer.
