Samsung has now brought a full stop to all the rumors about the Galaxy S21 series. The most anticipated phone for almost two months is now officially out. The new Samsung Galaxy S21 series consists of Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The first thing you are going to observe in the new Galaxy S21 is the camera module. Samsung calls this the “Contour Cut Camera,” this camera module lines up with the phone’s edges. The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is powered by the new 5nm Exynos 2100 SoC with a 20% faster CPU. The phones come with Android 11 out of the box with the new One UI 3.

Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+:

Display:

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is the low end of all, which shares similar features to the Galaxy S21+. The Galaxy S21 has a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The Display of S21+ is 6.7-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O with the same aspect ratio as S21. Both the devices have the new adaptive 120Hz display, which changes between 48Hz -120Hz depending on the usage. There is also HDR10+ support, Samsung Eye comfort shield for both phones.

Camera:

Moving on to the Camera, the Galaxy S21 and S21+ share the same setup. It has a triple camera setup of 12MP Ultrawide angle(120-degree field-of-view) camera with an f/2.2, 12MP primary dual pixel sensor with f/1.8, and autofocus support. Additionally, it also has a 64MP with hybrid 3x zoom, phase detection autofocus, and f/2.0. The third sensor also has optical image stabilization. The front camera is a 10MP with f/2.2 and FoV of 80 degrees.

Samsung has brought an upgraded camera app for the S21 and S21+. The new camera has features that support video recording at 8K, Director’s view, Super Steady Video, and Single Take. When the phone is paired with the new Galaxy Buds pro, the phone can record ambient sounds and our voice simultaneously. The Galaxy flagship is known for the zoom feature since the introduction last year. The Galaxy S21 and S21+ will be having space zoom up to 30 times.

Other specs:

Now coming to the storage part, there are two options of 128GB or 256GB. Both the phone has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM as the only option. Connectivity options are NFC, Bluetooth, 5G (Both NSA and SA), Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The phone has a new ultrasonic sensor, which is faster and has a more significant scanning area. It is now official that there is no charger in the box.

The Galaxy S21 has a 4000mAh, unlike S21+ having a 4800mAh battery that supports USB PD 3.0 fast charging. It also has wireless and reverse wireless charging support.

Display:

S21 Ultra has an ultra 6.8-inch edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display. The Ultra also supports an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate but can go down to 10Hz, unlike the others. The rumors seem to be accurate as Galaxy S21 Ultra has support to the S Pen. This is optional, which means you can buy the S Pen or the S Pen+ to use with the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Camera:

The Ultra model has an ultra camera setup with four cameras and a laser autofocus sensor. The main camera is a second-generation 108MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens and OIS support. A 12-megapixel Dual Pixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens, a 10-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens and OIS support, and another 10-megapixel sensor with an f/4.9 telephoto lens and OIS support. The former telephoto lens supports 3x optical zoom, while the latter one has 10x optical zoom. The camera also supports 100x space zoom. The front camera is a 40MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

Other Specs:

The Ultra model offers storage in three variants of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The RAM in the 128GB and 256GB will have 12GB, and the 512GB storage will have 16GB RAM. It has all the connectivity as of the S21 and S21+. The phone has an ultra 5000mAh battery.

Price and Availability:

The Samsung Galaxy S21 having 128GB storage+ 8GB RAM will be available at Rs. 69,999 while 256GB storage + 8GB RAM will be at Rs.73,999. The Samsung Galaxy S21+ having storage of 128GB + 8GB RAM is priced at Rs. 81,999 and storage of 256GB + 8GB RAM is priced at Rs. 85,999. The Galaxy S21 Ultra having 128GB of storage + 12GB RAM will be available at Rs. 1,05,999. The max of Ultra with 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is available at Rs. 1,16,999.

Pre-orders start from 15th January, and all pre-order customers will get Galaxy SmartTag. The regular sales will be available from 29th January via Samsung.com, Amazon, Flipkart, and all offline stores.
