Samsung still wants to launch Galaxy S21 FE, but in January

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is still a mystery. In the last 3 to 4 months, we’ve heard a lot of rumors, leaks and seen all kinds of renders. Even Samsung officially posted Galaxy S21 FE’s image on Instagram and deleted it in no time. Consider it an official leak. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has hit many headlines, and it finally ended up being canceled. Meanwhile, few reports tell that the launch will happen and the Galaxy S22 launch will be postponed. A plot twist, isn’t it? Let’s talk.

Samsung still wants to bring Galaxy S21 FE to the market

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is an affordable flagship smartphone from Samsung, and launch is expected alongside Galaxy Z Flip and Fold series in August Unpacked. But it didn’t launch, and a flood of leaks, launch date rumors, and renders showed up. At the end of September, the headlines claimed Samsung Electronics had canceled the launch of Galaxy S21 FE.

Surprisingly, Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy Unpacked event Part 2. Strange, but it’s true. Not only that, other rumors claim that the launch date of Galaxy S21 FE is postponed to January 11, 2022. Confused? Let me give it a brief.

The Galaxy S21 FE being pushed to January 2022, the month where the Galaxy S22 series shows up, makes no sense what Samsung is doing. Launching a lighter version of last year’s flagship just before a week of the next flagship is a crazy decision. Not to worry, because the same reports also suggesting that the Galaxy S22 series will be pushed to February just before the MWC takes place.

We’re assuming that all this postponing of dates is not actually an intentional decision, thanks to the global semiconductor chip shortage. But this flood of rumors and headlines is not official and confirmed. Let’s hope we can get a more clear picture from the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event.
