Xiaomi brought its new flagship phone Mi 11, to the global market. This phone was launched previously in China, and now Xiaomi brought it globally. This phone is the world’s first phone to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset(Except the US as Samsung S21 has Snapdragon 888 in the US). Mi is sticking to its core without bringing in a fancy display or a new groundbreaking wireless charging but a bundle of features at an affordable price.
Specifications:
Let look at the features of the phone. The phone comes with a 6.8-inch slightly-curved OLED display with a 1440p and 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the phone is 1500 nits. Coming to the glass above the display, it has the Corning Gorilla glass Victus as protection.
Now coming to the processor, this is the first phone to launch globally with Snapdragon 888. This 5nm processor has a 5G modem built-in. It has a single RAM variant of 8GB comes with two storage variants offering 128GB and 256GB. The RAM is an LPDDR5, and the storage of UFS 3.1.
Looking at the camera, there is a big change in the design of the camera module. The rear main camera is a 108MP wide-angle sensor with f/1.85. The secondary camera is a 13MP ultra-wide with an FoV of 123° and an f/2.4 sensor. The last camera is the 5MP telemacro with an f/2.4 sensor. The front camera is a 20MP in-display with an f/2.4 aperture.
Mi 11 has a dual 5G stand by as connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, and WiFi 6. The phone also has an IR blaster with multifunctional NFC. The fingerprint is an in-display sensor and even can read your heart rate. The dual stereo speakers are a special mention as Harmony Kardon tunes them.
The phone is a battery of 4,600mAh with a 55W fast wired charging. The phone also has a 50W wireless charging and a 10W reverse wireless charging. Mi 11 comes in Cloud White, Horizon Blue, and Midnight Grey color options.
Price:
The most important segment of a phone is the price of it. The phone is available for EUR 749 (8GB + 128GB) and EUR 799(8GB + 256GB). The Indian pricing is yet to be out. The phone has also got a two years warranty and one-time screen replacement for one year.
