Xiaomi launches Mi 10T with three variants Mi 10T, Mi10T Pro, and Mi10T Lite. The launch is global and Xiaomi India is also planning to launch it in India soon. The spec sheet is amazing on paper for the prices they revealed. Let’s go through Mi 10T series.
Mi 10T Pro
Mi 10T series are the first phones from Xiaomi coming with 144Hz displays. But, they are not AMOLED displays. Mi 10T Pro has a 6.67inch LCD display with an adaptive refresh rate that varies from 30Hz to 144Hz depending on usage and application. It is a 1080p+ display and supports HDR 10. Gorilla Glass 5 is on the front and rear.
Mi 10T Pro is powered by Snapdragon 865 and 5G enabled. It runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. The battery capacity is 5000mAh and includes a 33W charger inside the box. It supports WiFi 6, NFC, and also comes with an IR blaster. It has an 8GB RAM and comes in two storage options 128GB and 256GB. Mi 10T Pro is in three color options as Lunar Silver, Cosmic Black, and Aurora Blue.
The Mi 10T Pro comes with a triple camera setup on the rear. Such as the 108MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 8K video recording at 30 FPS. The second one is a 13MP, 123° ultrawide camera with an f/2.4 lens. The third one is a 5MP macro camera. And there is a 20MP punch hole camera on the front that supports night mode and 120 FPS slow-motion video recording.
Mi 10T
Mi10T and Mi10T Pro are almost identical. The only difference is with the primary camera. It has a 64MP sensor as a primary camera whereas, the MI 10T Pro has a 108MP one. The 64MP sensor with f/1.9 supports 8K recording but it does not have an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
Mi 10T comes in two variations such as 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage. I know what you’re thinking, yes the 256GB option is absent. Here are the prices of Mi 10T.
Mi 10T Lite
Mi 10T Lite is the affordable one in this series but with fewer trade-offs. It comes with a similar 6.67inch 1080p+ LCD display but with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Still not bad, 120Hz is almost the best in the industry. The adaptive refresh rate can vary from 30Hz to 120Hz depending on usage and application to save the juice. The Gorilla Glass 5 is on both front and rear.
It is powered by the new Snapdragon 750G and 5G enabled. The battery capacity is 4820mAh and the same 33W charger is coming within the box. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Wait, Did I write 3.5mm headphone jack? Whoa!!
Interestingly, It has a quad-camera setup on the rear, whereas the other two just have a triple camera setup. Let’s see. The primary camera is 64MP with f/1.7 aperture. The second one is an 8MP 120° ultra-wide camera. The third one is “with fewer use cases but still, there” kind of 2MP Macro camera and the fourth one is a 2MP depth sensor. A 16MP punch hole camera is on the front.
The Mi 10T Lite comes in two options such as 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage at 279€ and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at 329€. They have an early bird offer for Mi fans, they can participate in a flash sale on Amazon and Mi.com to get 6GB + 64GB variant for 249€. The flash sale is on October 13.
