Black Widow finally gets a release date in India on Disney + Hotstar. Disney + Hotstar has announced the date on Saturday that Black Widow will be available from September 3rd in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. This will be the initial release of Black Widow in India as it couldn’t make its way to the theaters. However, the movie has been released in theaters in other parts of the world.
There is a conflict for Marvel with Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings releasing on the same day in theaters. This will be a treat for Marvel fans to watch two movies on the same day. The Disney contract agreements and pandemic situations are leading to odd release strategies. Disney + had announced this news on Twitter with a title poster of Black Widow in 6 different languages. They have also reuploaded the same final trailer of Black Widow from April in their YouTube account in all six different languages.
Black Widow is the movie based on Natasha or Black Widow from the old guard of Avengers. This movie is directed by Cate Shortland that shows the past of Natasha mainly after the events after Captain America: Civil War. Recently Scarlett Johansson has filed a lawsuit against Disney for their plan to simultaneously release the movie in theaters and Disney plus on the same day. She mentions that this has shown a negative effect on the movie running in theaters.
