Warner Bros. Pictures on Thursday announced that Christopher Nolan’s big-budget movie Tenet for a home release on December 15th. The movie was released on August 15th after multiple delays. Tenet is the first Hollywood movie to release in theaters after the long shutdown.
The movie so far has grossed $350 million worldwide. Warner Bros. Picture was expecting much more as the budget for the film was more than $200 million. In order to overcome this issue, they are releasing the movie in digital versions. The movie isn’t a disaster to watch in the theaters as the reviews by critics are also positive. You can see that the Roten tomatoes also gives the movie a rating of 71. The only reason that the movie couldn’t do well in the theater was the situation outside. Most of the people who go to the theater were staying home in the fear of COVID-19 in the crowd.
The movie in the US itself has grossed $53.8 million. After a big struggle in theaters for months to move the movie form a big flop to financial success. Critics call this a smart move that they have been arguing for months. We can pre-order both the physical and digital version from November 10th. The costs of different versions as below:
- Digital Version – $19.99
