Sony’s God of War game isn’t new to introduce it has been a long running PlayStation Exclusive game. Now we will get to witness the game in a live-action TV series based on God Of War. Amazon Prime Video is in talks with Sony to develop this live-action series.
The news was first shared by a report from Deadline. More details about the TV series on God Of War is still yet to be revealed. The only details we get to know is that Mark Fergus and Hawk Otsby might be directing the show along with executive producers behind The Expanse, and The Wheel of Time. At present there are only talks about making the series between Amazon Prime Video and Sony.
If the deal to make the live-action series is done then it will be a lot of ground story to cover. The God of War initial game came out back in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. Till now we have got 7 versions of the game and the eighth version is getting ready to be released. The eighth version is God Of War: The Ragnarok that will be out sometime this year. The last part that is yet to be released has a new set of Norse gods and the troubles with them.
This is not the first deal for Sony to convert a game in to a live-action Series. There are multiple series and movies that are getting ready based on the games. Al these content will not be available at one place and has been distributed among the streaming services. The last signoff from Sony is a live-action remake of Twisted Metal that will be aired on Peacock.
