Marvel finally dropped the trailer of the Hawkeye tv-series. The trailer gives the first look at Clint Barton (played by Jeremy Renner) and his fellow or successor Hawkeye, Kate Bishop (played by Hailee Steinfeld). The trailer showcased their Christmas adventures around the NewYork city.
After the Blip, as Barton’s family disappears, he becomes murderous vigilante Ronin. But after things settle down and his family returns, Clint wants to enjoy Christmas with his family in New York. And then he got to know someone running around in NY with a bow and suit identical to his old Ronan. It turns out to be Kate Bishop, who proudly tells Hawkeye that she’s the “world’s greatest archer.”
Clint is training Kate to take over the mantle of Hawkeye, and she’s presumably a vital part of the future of the MCU. Hawkeye will also star Florence Pugh, Yelena Belova from Black Widow.
Marvel Studios Hawkeye is directed by not one but three directors: Rhys Thomas and the director duo Bert and Bertie. And the series is created and produced by Jonathan Igla.
Alongside Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld (the first female Hawkeye, Kate Bishop), the show also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox.
The series will debut on Disney+, and each episode comes every Wednesday from November 14. It’s going to be Marvel’s gift for this Christmas.
Marvel has also released a Christmas-themed official Hawkeye poster that reads, “This holiday season, the best gifts come with a bow,” take a look:
