House of the Dragon a prequel to the most famous Game of Thrones get a release Date. The HBO and HBO Max TV series will be starting on August 21, 2022. The TV series was first announced by HBO in October 2019 and after 2 and half years we will be witnessing the show.
The official announcement of the release date of House of Dragon has been revealed through a Tweet from HBO Max. This series is made based on the book George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood. House of the Dragon will be a ten episode series that is set 200 years before the popular events of Game of Thrones. The HBO TV Series will have Daenerys Targaryen as the main character in the series about the House of Targaryen.

After the first announcement about House of the Dragons in 2019 we got an update with a teaser trailer in October 2021. Due to the pandemic the TV series has been pushed back couple of years. The stars of the Series are Paddy Considine as King Viserys I Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen along with Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoyo Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, Graham McTavish, Ryan Corr, Jefferson Hall, and more.
Martin the writer of the book has seen the rough cut of the first episode and he loved it. He added “It’s dark, It’s powerful, and It’s visceral, just the way I like my epic fantasy”. House of the Dragons releasing on August 21st is going to face the Amazon’s Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power TV Series releasing on September 2nd.
