HBO has released the first trailer for House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones Prequel. The GOT Prequel series will arrive in 2022.
The trailer didn’t reveal many details but showed us some glimpses of the Targaryen family. Two dialogues came straight from Matt Smith, who played Daemon Targaryen in the series in the trailer. One goes like a mantra – “Gods, Kings, Fire, and Blood.” And he also adds, “Dreams didn’t make us kings. Dragons did.”

As the name itself says, the core part of the series House of the Dragon will mostly concentrate on the Targaryen house. The new GOT Prequel series features events that happened 200 years before the original Game of Thrones. The show narrates the story of the Targaryen family, the line of kings from the house that reigned Westeros before Robert Baratheon took the throne. The House of the Dragon directly implies the events of Game of Thrones.
