A bad news for all the Marvel fans all of the Marvel TV shows on the Netflix will soon disappear. You won’t be able to watch your favorite shows from Marvel after February 28th. So no more The Defenders, Luke cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, Iron Fist on Netflix. The news was first reported by whats on Netflix site.
When you open these shows you may find a notice that says “This show is available until March 1st”. This message is shown while you try to watch the shows mentioned above. This will just give a couple of weeks for you to watch these shows. In the year 2013 Marvel and Netflix had a deal to make a mini Marvel universe on Netflix.
That is when these Originals have been started based on The Defenders. This deal has been ended in 2019 and that’s when Netflix announced that it is cancelling all the remainder of its Marvel shows. There has been no official statement from Netflix or Marvel though about the news. Marvel on the other hand is busy in making it’s own series on the Disney+ streaming service.
And if you have noticed Marvel is trying to pull most of the characters in to its movies or shows. As the deal has been ended, Marvel will now get the full rights on these characters. As a result you have seen Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in the new Spider-Man: No Way Home movie in a cameo role and another character is Kingpin in Hawk Eye. This will be a loss for the giant Streaming service but on the other hand it has got deals with DC.
There has been no words on where these series will be moving but might mostly seen on Disney+.
