Sony Pictures released the latest trailer of Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage, the sequel of 2018’s Venom, and it is ready with its release date of September 24, 2021.
In the trailer, we see Eddie Brock ( played by Tom Hardy) adjusting to life with the alien symbiote Venom inside him. Brock wants to lead and control Venom, especially in eating people. However, Venom’s hunger is neverending. The trailer also gives us a closer look at Cletus Kasady ( played by Woody Harrelson), the movie’s main villain. Cletus is a serial killer, and Eddie interviews him to get his journalistic career back on track. But that’s where tables turn. Cletus transforms into Carnage, a terrifying Red Symbiote after biting Eddie. He’s such terrifying that even Venom shows a bit unwilling to fight him.

After Kasady bites Brock’s hand, he goes on to say, “I have tasted blood before, and that, is not it.” And the trailer cuts to the transformation of Kasady to Carnage.
It’s slightly different from Carnage’s origin story. In the original comic book, Venom leaves behind its offspring in the prison cell, and that enters into Kasady’s body through a cut on his hand.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is directed by Andy Serkis, well-known as an actor playing Gollum in the Lord of the Rings and Ulysses Klaue in Black Panther. The Venom 2 cast also includes Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Stephen Graham.
Let’s just wait to see two Spider-Man villains fight in Venom: Let There Be Carnage on September 24, 2021. For more info related to the movie, visit the official website.
