Warner Bros. Production is messing things up. First the release of Tenet in August in theaters giving them fewer collections. And now a confusion with the release of the movie Wonder Woman 1984. The movie Wonder Woman 1984 is just six weeks away from its release in the theaters as a Christmas release. This movie has got a whole lot of buzz going on since the release of its trailer.
Warner Bros. is now looking for another option to postpone the movie to summer 2021. If that is not going to happen then an HBO Max release in January is in plans. Warner Bros is thinking as the cinemas in the US are reclosing and a second lockdown in the Uk might affect the collections of the movie. They don’t want to put the movie at big risk by releasing the movie as already done in the case of Tenet.
HBO Max on the other is struggling to get subscribers when in comparison to Netflix or DisneyPlus. This also makes an excellent move to drive customers to the streaming service. According to the report by Variety, the director of the movie in an interview with them mentioned that the movie was made keeping theater visuals in mind. The movie till now has been pushed from June 5 to August 14 to October 2nd and finally to December 25th. This sudden situation of the COVID pandemic has still got no answers to when the situation will be normal. But the director mentions that this movie will not miss the theaters. Bloomberg was the first to publish an article regarding this movie release.
