A seller named polizna sells a McDonald’s Chicken Nugget shaped like a character from Among Us, and bidding has reached ludicrous heights.
The seller listed the chicken nugget recently on eBay, and so far, it got around 184 bids. And the highest bid is unthinkably $99,997.00.
The chicken nugget is from a McDonald’s recently launched Happy Meal produced in partnership with BTS, the South Korean boy band.
The seller mentioned the condition of the nugget as used, of course. And the winning bidder receives the frozen air-sealed nugget before its 14-day expiration period. So, then he/she can eat it, never mind. Later, Xbox tweeted as “For that price, it must come with Szechuan Sauce”. So, the seller mentions that the winner can get Szechuan sauce shipped with the nugget if it’s what they really want.

However, some other Among Us-shaped chicken nuggets from McDonald’s have already sold on eBay, but this got more attention and bidding. This one might be unique because it’s from a BTS meal. In addition, Among Us developer Innersloth promoted the auction page with a tweet.

The seller told CNET that they expected the auction to reach about $50. The seller to CNET, “I had figured it would get somewhere around $50 but nothing like this, at the end of the day there are some people out there who *would* pay some absurd price for a McDonald’s chicken nugget, but I don’t think the final bidder will actually go through with the purchase as there are lots of people who bid on things like this for the ‘memes.'”
Finally, the Among Us shaped chicken nugget sold for the same final bid of $99,997 on eBay while I’m writing this article.
