Truecaller Business verification feature to prevent from Spam calls

Truecaller is one of the most reliable software that everyone trusts to get the name of an unknown number. The developers of the app since then have been adding new features. This time the company is adding a feature to prevent users from answering Fraud or Spam calls. This feature will display the brand name with a verification mark.

Users who get a call from these verified businesses cannot change the name of the business. These names will be only able to be set by the vendors and can’t be changed. But if the user thinks that the call is a Spam or fraud call then they can still report the number.

This feature will allow users to identify a call from a legit business and avoid other calls. This feature apart from identifying the business will help small businesses to reach their target audience. This will help them build the brand identity.

This feature for now is still in testing face with a limited number of businesses. During the early phases over 150 companies have participated in the program and saw a significant improvement in the efficiency of their calls to the users. This led to the rise in the call pickable rate for the companies.

To get the full advantage of the feature user must be using the Truecaller call screen. The call screen will be having some UI changes when the user gets a call from the companies. At first sight, you can see a green background when you receive a call rather than red(for Spam) or blue. Then it will have the prominent brand logo in the middle just above the name of the business. There will be a verified tick next to the brand name set by the company before verifying. Below that will be a verified business badge.
