Vaio is making its comeback to the Indian market from January 15th onwards. These new Vaio laptops will be available to buy from Flipkart. The company, a few years back, has left the country silently. Now it seems to have got the craze for its sleek design and colorful laptops. Nexsto company sells Avita laptops in India and globally is reviving the Vaio brand by having a license agreement with the company Vaio corporation.
This Hong-Kong based company is already selling Vaio laptops in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and the Middle East. The laptops from Vaio will be premium, intelligently-crafted, and delivers exceptional quality. There isn’t any reveal of the specifications or features of the laptops officially.

History of Vaio:
Sony brought Vaio as a subsidiary for PC back in 1996. It got the eye of the consumers as the design was sleek at the times of bulky laptops. The brand is also known for its 2-in-1 and hybrid models. In February 2014, Sony sold the company to the investment firm Japan Industrial Partners. Since then, Vaio has been away from the Indian and global markets.
Vaio’s comeback is when the market is seeing a growing demand for laptops. Since the COVID-19, the market of laptops has seen a 9.2 percent YoY growth, according to a report by International Data Corporation (IDC) in the third quarter. This market already has more prominent brands like HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, and Lenovo. There are some new entrants like Xiaomi trying to expand their lineups to find new Indian Consumers.
