WhatsApp being part of Facebook, is getting some features from its brothers Instagram and Facebook. Previously we saw news from WhatsApp that will be getting a status update that looks similar to the Instagram stories. Last week we got another feature that will be coming soon to WhatsApp from its brothers. This new feature is the emoji reaction to the WhatsApp chat.
Sounds familiar right yeah, thats’ the exact feature you will find in Instagram and Facebook Messenger. The usual WABetainfo first reports this WhatsApp Chat emoji reaction. You can now react to a message in a chat with any emoji that WhatsApp supports. Similar to Instagram and Facebook, your reaction to the message will be only one.
To those who like to maintain privacy in WhatsApp, this feature won’t be helpful for you. Everyone in the chat (in a group) can see all the people who reacted to a particular message. So it would be best if you were extra careful before you react to the chat in a serious group. There is no mention of how to react, but going by Facebook way long-pressing, a message might give you options to react.
