Apple iPhone SE 3 could look like the iPhone XR

The first iPhone SE to have a FaceID

Apple iPhone SE is an affordable smartphone lineup from Apple. This iPhone takes the design from the previous iPhone models packing with the latest chip inside. The latest iPhone SE 2 was based on the iPhone 8 design with the latest Bionic A13 chipset inside. A news report now suggests that the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 3 will have the iPhone XR design.

This means that the iPhone SE 3 will be the first phone under SE to have a FaceID instead of the physical TouchID. This news isn’t any rumor but based on the calculation of how Apple is releasing the iPhone SE models over the years. iPhone SE 2 had the body of iPhone 8, which is also the last phone to have a physical TouchID.

This report does make sense as Apple is planning to move all of its devices to have FaceID. All of its devices here also include MacBooks. This might be one of the reasons why Apple introduced a notch design on the MacBook Pro this year. The phone is rumored to be released in the first half of 2022. Apple also has removed the 256 GB iPhone SE 2 after the September event.

Apple only tends to remove the models from its website when a newer model is released or to plan to release. We didn’t hear anything about the iPhone SE in either of its two September and October events. The Apple iPhone SE 3 will be having the last year’s A14 Bionic chip with an iPhone XR body. And this could also be the first iPhone SE to have 5G support. Well, we still have to wait a few more months to get more leaks or official news about this phone.
