Apple is planning for another subscription service that might start soon. This subscription service will not be for the software but for the hardware. Yes Apple is planning to make a subscription plan for the iPhone, iPad and other hardware products. This will be similar like the other subscriptions where you have to pay a monthly fee.
This will be Apple’s biggest ever strategy to convert into recurring sales automatically. This will also mark the subscription plan for hardware devices from Apple like iPhone and iPad for the first time rather than the digital service. You will be able to make this purchase just like the normal Apple One or the Apple Music using your Apple ID. This subscription plan might be present on the Online Store or Retail Stores during the checkout time.
Now you might get a question this does seem like the regular EMI option that is already existing. Well “NO” the regular EMI will divide the price of the product over the period of time. Whereas this subscription plan will let you pay a fixed amount every month. The price will differ based on the product of choice, and will be an interest free. Apple is also looking to include the Apple One and Apple Care+ plans bundled with this subscription to make it more profitable.
This plan will allow you to swap you device with a new one after the release every year. This will also make Apple less dependent on third party services and provide service directly to its customers. The details about this were first published by Bloomberg as the plan is still in discussion. Apple is looking to release this plan in the late 2022 or in 2023.
