Starting from September 22nd Google has the Disney Plus library movies and TV shows available. These libraries will be available in the Google Assistant smart displays like the Google Nest and the Nest Hub Max. Google also mentions that all the “Google Assistant-enabled” smart displays will have this feature supported. This feature will only be available to selected markets in the globe.
Disney Plus is a kind of experience that overstep generations. Be it the classic Snow White or the new action series “The Mandalorian” Disney Plus has something everyone loves. Google mentions that we can use a voice command such as “Hey Google, play The Mandalorian in Disney Plus”.
If you have a Disney Plus account then you can link your account to Google Home settings or Assistant app. After the account is linked you can watch movies and shows from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic and many more. You can now hear stories like “The Frozen” or “Frozen 2” in Google Assistant available devices, android, Smart Displays and even iOS phones. Just say “Hey Google, Tell me a Frozen Story” and you can pick the character which you’d like to narrate.
As of now, this feature is available in only the US, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This feature will be available in other regions in the coming months.
