On Thursday (10th September), Huawei announced Harmony OS 2.0 its home-grown operating system. It is already on devices like wearables, cars, and smart TVs. Now they are likely wanted to introduce it to smartphones from next year as it is the main plan.

We’re already aware of its issues with the U.S. It is not allowed to sell its components or any services in the U.S and it cannot use Google services. Due to some allegations of a cybersecurity threat. Huwaei survived in the market at 2nd position after Samsung without the help of Google Services, this is how big it is. Even though Google and Huawei want to work together but the government is not allowing it, Huwaei must have an alternative. There, it introduced HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) and as well as its homegrown operating system Harmony OS.
