Microsoft officially launches Windows 11 with new UI and features

Microsoft has been teasing about its new Windows version for many days. There were many leaks of how the new Windows 11 might look like. There was also an early access beta version of the OS that went viral. Today is the day to stop all those and take a look at the official Windows 11. In a virtual event, Microsoft has finally released a new version in their Windows known as Windows 11. The new Windows 11 brings a lot of UI changes and some cool features.

New Features and a fresh new UI:

The first thing that you would notice is the new UI that Microsoft has used in Windows 11. The start menu is now located at the center, along with the pinned apps. In addition, the apps are all rounded, and the start menu now floats instead of sticking to the taskbar below. If you know about the Windows 10X that Microsoft wanted to launch to replace the ChromeOS, most of the design elements in Windows 11 look similar to it.

Settings and Action center also get a new UI design. The action center also floats on the right side with access to basic settings like Bluetooth, WiFi, volume, screen brightness, and more.  The icons are also big to match the theme of the Windows.

For multitaskers, Windows 11 has brought many styles of settings apps to your screen. They are called the Snap layouts that let you have a minimum of two applications to a maximum of four.

Microsoft Store is one of the most unfamous stores that everyone uses. Now in Windows 11, the store has got a new UI and allows users to download and install Android apps. This new change makes a new move in making Windows more accessible to Android users. The new store also is a big win for the developers as they will be no commission for keeping your app in the Windows Store. So the developers can have the 100% revenue they get from the application.

Another change is that Windows will now support widgets but still unsure whether third-party apps are supported. Microsoft teams are now integrated into windows to connect with your friends or colleagues.

In a verdict, the new Windows 11 is exciting with new UI and features. Even though you get a glimpse of the Windows 10X users upgrading from Windows 10 will like the new changes. My favorite feature in this is definitely from the Store, where you can install Android apps.
