By this point in time, you might have known something about “Nothing.” I didn’t mean the word but the Nothing Tech company that Carl Pei found. Recently the company has unveiled its first line of product, ear 1. This was the first TWS earbuds top feature a transparent design. On October 13th, they have announced their partnership with “Qualcomm” for its future products.

Nothing will be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform for their future products. This hints that Nothing is eying at something that involves making a premium smartphone or smartwatch or the first Snapdragon-powered TWS earbuds. Nothing announces this news via an official blog on their website.

Qualcomm senior vice-president and president Enrico Salvatori says, “We are excited to help Nothing bring to life its highly anticipated ecosystem of tech products.” He does mention the usage of Snapdragon’s most powerful mobile platform and seamless connectivity through 5G across different categories of products. Both the companies are looking to bring in some innovative products intended for the benefit of the consumer.

Nothing founder and CEO mentions his happiness of partnering with Qualcomm to achieve his goals of the company. He is glad that the consumers have accepted a new contender to the already crowded TWS earbuds segment. He adds consumers have the right to access better products that are simpler to use, accessible, yet looks fantastic.

Apart from the partnership, Nothing has also raised a fund of $50 million. They mention that this fund will be used towards their research and development. The research and development will give the company an idea to enter into a new product category.
