Nothing’s upcoming Ear (2) true wireless earbuds have been the talk of the town in the audio industry. With the launch just around the corner, Nothing has been dropping teasers and hints about what we can expect from their latest offering.

The latest information is that the Ear (2) will support the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, Hi-Res Audio streaming, and AAC and SBC codecs. Users can expect even higher audio quality than the impressive Ear (1).

In addition, Ear (2) will also have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, an improvement over Ear (1)’s IPX4 rating. This has been made possible by improved manufacturing techniques that have allowed for smaller gaps, which results in better water resistance.

Aside from the technical details, Ear (2) is expected to have a semi-transparent design similar to Ear (1), with the name of the earbuds being the only difference. The placement of the noise-canceling microphones has also been changed.

Other expected features include 11.6mm drivers, wireless charging support, personalized ANC, and up to 36 hours of playback time. With all these features, Ear (2) is expected to be priced similarly to Ear (1), making it an attractive option for those in the market for new earbuds.

The Ear (2) is set to launch on March 22, and with all the information available so far, it’s shaping up to be a promising release from Nothing. The company has been making waves in the audio industry since its founding by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, and the Ear (2) is just the latest addition to its lineup.

Overall, if you’re looking for a new pair of earbuds with top-notch audio quality and water resistance, the Ear (2) might be the one for you. Stay tuned for more information when Ear (2) officially launches in a few days.
