We are getting closer to witness the launch of the first product from Nothing. The company has been formed by the former founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei. Nothing has announced their first product will be a TWS called ear 1. The official launch of the product will be on July 27th globally. Now we get to see the unique and transparent charging case where the earbuds will be charging.
The company hasn’t yet revealed the design of the actual buds till now. Since the announcement of the product, it has got the eyes of tech enthusiasts. They mentioned that the product would have a transparent design, and now the case also has the same design. The price of the product has also been disclosed before the launch of the product. When you observe the case, it looks identical to all the cases but transparent in the interview with CNET. It has a housing for the buds to charge while in the case, and on the side has the charging port.
The first product from Nothing was supposed to be coming in April, but due to design issues, they had to postpone. The initial designs didn’t match the vision that Carl was looking to accomplish with the company. The central idea of Nothing is to have tech that can fit into people’s life seamlessly. According to the last news about the features of the ear 1, it will be having a battery life of 24 hours with ANC(Active Noise Cancellation) turned on. With the ANC turned off, the buds will give a battery life of about 36 hours. Carl also confirmed that ANC in the ear 1 would be equivalent to Apple AirPods.
The pricing of the ear 1 being aggressive with the features they are offering would be great to watch. The transparent design would also bring an advantage to the TWS earbuds. Flipkart will be selling the Nothing ear 1 for Rs. 5,999 and $99 in the US in India.
