OnePlus Buds Pro comes with Adaptive Noise Cancellation

OnePlus with the launch of OnePlus Buds last year, entered the TWS(True Wireless Stereo) Audio products. After some months, it has expanded the lineup with a lite version OnePlus Buds Z. Now, almost after a year of their first TWS is getting ready to launch a Pro version. We all know that OnePlus is getting ready to launch OnePlus Nord 2 and also confirms OnePlus Buds Pro along with them.

In an email interview with CNET OnePlus Head of Research and Development, Kinder Leu has confirmed some features. He mentions that the OnePlus Buds Pro will be having Adaptive Noise Cancellation. This is a little different from the native Active Noise Cancellation(ANC) that other TWS earbuds have. This feature will be quite similar to the normal ANC but with a little change. The Buds pro will be able to monitor exterior noises and can intelligently produce noise-canceling counter frequency.

These buds will also be able to auto-tune themselves from 15dB to a maximum of 40dB. Kinder Lue also mentions that this is not a product from their recent merger with Oppo. They have been working on this since July last year. He then mentions the battery life of the Buds Pro. Taking advantage of their Warp charging the device when charged through the wire for 10 minutes can last you from 10 hours. When the case and buds are in full charge, it can give a combined battery life of 28 hours with Adaptive Noise Cancellation. When the Adaptive Noise Cancellation is off can last up to 38 hours.

The OnePlus Buds Pro case will also have wireless charging support. However, the speed of charging through wireless is limited to 2W. CNET also shared the first look at the buds that come in black color with a design similar to the Apple Airpods Pro. OnePlus believes that it can compete with the flagship range of audio products with the new OnePlus Buds Pro.

We have to wait until the launch alongside the Nord 2 on 22nd July for the remaining features.
