Samsung at Galaxy Unpacked event introduced another TWS earbuds to its lineup, and they call it Galaxy Buds 2. The South Korean giant also launched Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Watch 4 at the event. According to the naming of Buds 2, it seems to be the successor of the actual Galaxy Buds from a couple of years ago. However, it has almost all the features from last year’s Buds Pro. The dual-tone design that Samsung brought to Buds 2 is stunningly minimal. Let’s talk about the specifications, price, and everything you need to know.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 – Specifications and Features

Buds 2 offers Active Noice Cancellation, but I do notice they didn’t mention “Intelligent ANC” as they did for Buds Pro. Buds 2 comes with 11mm drivers, with an 11mm woofer and 6.5mm tweeter. There’s a triple-microphone array and VPU (Voice Pickup Unit) built-in for calls and noise cancellation. Buds 2 uses Bluetooth 5.2 with support for SBC, AAC, and Samsung Scalable codec.

Talking about the battery, Buds 2 has a 61mAh battery on each earbud, and the case offers a 472mAh capacity. Samsung claims that Buds alone will offer 5hrs of playtime with ANC ON and 7.5 hrs with ANC OFF and an additional 15 hours of juice with the charging case. Buds 2 also supports Qi quick and wireless charging.
