Samsung’s next flagship phone is just a couple of months to launch. Their upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 will be launching in January (most probably). We all know that Samsung does make two versions of their Flagship phones one with their own chipset Exynos and another with Snapdragon. Until now the Snapdragon-powered Samsung flagships are limited to the US only. Now Samsung is looking to launch a Samsung Galaxy S22 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in India.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the upcoming flagship processor coming from Qualcomm. Qualcomm has been dominating the Andriod mobile SoC segment for quite a few years. This news comes from a popular tipster Tron on Twitter. In his Tweet, he mentions Samsung might replace the Galaxy S22 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with Exynos 2200 in India.
India S22 Series will be getting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, instead of an Exynos 2200 chipset.

There is no mention from Samsung whether it will release only the Snapdragon variant in India. There may be a chance that Samsung might launch both the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant of Galaxy S22 in India. Samsung is not in plans to cancel their own chipset Exynos as it mentioned working on Exynos 2200.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 will be having three models as usual Ultra, Plus, and a normal S22 model. As per a leak from Ice Universe, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be launching on February 8th. Maybe that is when we get to see the latest flagship phone from Samsung.
There have been a lot of leaks for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones. It is noted that Samsung has officially ditched the Note series. To satisfy the Note users Samsung this time is also giving a slot for the S-Pen in the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Hopefully, it also gives a slot in their upcoming Galaxy Fold.
So, that’s been it. Thank you for reading, and do share the article if you get a bit piece of information. Also, keep an eye on this space for more relevant updates. Stay safe, and we hope to see you around.
