Samsung has quietly launched its new Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G. There were many leaks from different tipsters regarding Samsung working on a new Galaxy Tab S7 lite version. The device isn’t yet launched globally but is silently listed on the Germany website. The launch was so silent that there was not even a keynote or blog post. With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, the Tab S7 series gets an affordable 5G tab for users with nothing much to boast about.
We all know about the FE; it does mean Fan Edition that Samsung will bring to the likes of Fans. Let’s look at the specification of the Tab now.
Specifications:
In terms of display, you will be getting a standard 60Hz LCD panel with a screen size of 12.4-inch. The processor used in the Tab is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G that is present in the Samsung Galaxy A series. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage with a microSD card support of up to 1TB. The Tab comes with 5G connectivity and Android 11 out of the box running on One UI 3.1.
Now coming to the cameras on the device, it has an 8MP sensor on the back and 5MP in the front. The new Tab S7 FE supports S-Pen, which can be attached to its magnetic holder at the back. The device also has support to Samsung DeX to use the tab as a desktop alternative.
As mentioned earlier, there isn’t much to boast about the new Galaxy Tab S7 FE. As it is an affordable 5G tab, there were many cut downs from the display to the processor in the Tab. The Original Tab S7 series was having a 120Hz refresh rate and a flagship processor.
Pricing:
The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at €649 (roughly Rs. 57,900). The 6GB RAM variant pricing is yet to be revealed.
