Samsung launches a new smart monitor on Monday that can suit working, entertainment, and learning. Samsung calls this new monitor a do-it-all monitor. This monitor can connect to both PC and mobile, it also features the entertainment hub and smart hub just like the Samsung Smart TVs. The new monitor also supports the Samsung Dex to connect to the display from a phone. The new connection also includes Apple AirPlay, AppCasting, or Tap View.

This new display has a whole lot of new features that make them the first in their category. The smart display can work on Microsoft office 365 applications even without a PC connection. Users can also view, edit, and save documents in the cloud directly from a monitor with its built-in WiFi. Remote access in this monitor can access files or view content from a PC even when it is located elsewhere in the house or office.

The new Smart Monitor has a USB Type-C port to powerup, data, and display making the table clean from wires. Other connections include Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 5, USB 2.0, and HDMI 2.0. The display also has two inbuilt speakers of 5W each. The smart monitor runs on the Tizen OS 5.5 with a monitor store to play videos from apps like Netflix, HBO, and YouTube. The monitor also comes with a remote to adjust the volume brightness and other stuff.

Models, Price, and Availability:

Samsung has launched the Monitor in two lineups M7 and M5. The M7 is a high-end monitor of 32-inch which supports Ultra High Definition(UHD) resolution. The M5 has two options one that is 32-inch and another is a 27-inch display. M5 only supports FHD(Full HD) resolution.

The new Smart Display will be available from today i.e November 16th in the United States, Canada, and China. Samsung is planning to expand the market starting from the end of November. Now talking about the pricing Samsung has priced M7 at $400 (roughly Rs.27,800 when converted) and M5 32-inch at $280(roughly Rs.20,850 when converted), 27-inch at $230(roughly Rs.17,121 when converted).
