Samsung is getting ready to level up its gaming performance with its upcoming Exynos chipset. Samsung has teased the forthcoming Exynos 2200 that has an RDNA 2 GPU. There was news about Samsung partnering with AMD to make a new chipset. Now we have got official confirmation on the news with the announcement on Twitter.

Samsung also teases the Exynos chipset with a small teaser in their official YouTube channel. The teasers and the Tweet doesn’t reveal much info, such as the name or other details. The only hint given is the usage of the RDNA 2 architecture of the AMD to design their GPU. The RDNA 2 architecture is the one that is used in the next-gen consoles from Microsoft Xbox Series X and S, Sony PS5, and AMD’s RX6000 series GPUs.
This doesn’t mean we will have the same powerful GPU as the consoles. But the GPU in the Exynos 2200 will set a benchmark for the mobile gaming platform. Like the previous Exynos 2100, the upcoming Exynos 2200 will be powering the flagships coming from Samsung in the year 2022. Samsung has some launch events coming up in the first month of 2022. We will be seeing the new Galaxy S22 series having the Exynos 2200 chipset with enhanced CPU and GPU performance.
We are not that far from the launch of the Exynos 2200, as mentioned by Samsung. The launch is on January 11th, and by the end of January or February, we will be getting the Galaxy S22 Series.
