Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 surpasses 1 million points on AnTuTu benchmark

The leaks suggest the unnamed Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has the highest score yet by Android device

Snapdragon 8 Gen1 AnTuTu score

We are living in an age where the pace of technology is swift. It is getting harder to catch up with speed sometimes. Talking about speed, look at who has the speed to surpass the 1 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. It is the upcoming flagship processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon. They haven’t yet said about the processor’s name, but for now, they are calling it Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Weibo first posted this news that the AnTuTu benchmark has not yet been verified. The next-gen Snapdragon 800 series (8 Gen 1 probable 895) has a record score of 10,35,020 on AnTuTu. This is the highest score ever made by any chipset from Qualcomm. This isn’t the first chipset to score a million as MediaTek recently with Dimensity 9000 has crossed that mark. The previous flagship chip from Snapdragon has got a score of mid 80,000. And some of the smartphones using the Snapdragon 888 or 888 Plus has scored even less than that.

Now this score suggests that this will be a massive jump in the performance from Snapdragon. Qualcomm is yet to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on November 30th officially. As per news circulating, we might get a smartphone this year having the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The two phones might be the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and Xiaomi 12. The score spotted on the AnTuTu page is still unclear of the phone that used the chip.

Following Motorola and Xiaomi, OnePlus and IQOO will be launching their phone in the Q1 of next year. We have to wait until November 30th for an official confirmation.
