As Spotify faced yesterday, Google is currently facing service disruption, users complaining that they couldn’t send emails. Not only the Gmail, The Google Drive, Admin Console, Google Meet and Google Chat are also confirmed to be having a significant interruption.
As it is an interruption but not an outrage, users can still check the emails that are already in their inbox. The issue is user-specific, it varies by user (I can still access the inbox but few of my friends said it was inaccessible for them). Google is aware of this and the team is investigating. The issue may get resolved even while I’m writing this post.
The kind of issue that happened on a business working day is unacceptable but as it is unexpected service disruption, we can’t complain much about it.
The recent update on G-Suite status dashboard reads as follows,
At 3:10PM (IST):
“Gmail service has already been restored for some users, and we expect a resolution for all users in the near future. Please note this time frame is an estimate and may change.”
So, it states that the service is already restored for some users. Hope Google resolves the issue for all the users by the end of the day. Google is aware of this issue since 9:44 AM. Look at Downdetecter suggested the issues at first.

Not only the Google, even the Spotify Application has faced the issues on yesterday’s eve worldwide. And their official twitter handle @SpotifyCares posted the updated saying the issues are resolved now.
