We all know that Apple is developing a car which goes by the name “Project Titan“. We have got many rumours regarding the patents it is applying and even got multiple models of “Apple car”. The project seems to have started gaining pace. Recent reports say that the new Apple car will a fully autonomous, i.e. fully self-driving vehicle.

According to a CNBC report, some of the sources say that the first model of Apple’s car will be a driverless car. This statement also seems correct by the patents they got for their vehicle in 2020. The patent says the vehicle will be controlled by voice. If that’s true, then there are chances that these will be Robo-taxis or autonomous delivery vehicles.

The CNBC report throws light on the new deal that is going on between Hyundai-Kia and Apple. Before Apple started making cars, one of the analysts said that Apple would be making cars by 2023. Unfortunately Apple last year stated that it would manufacture its EV cars from 2024.

After this report, several reports said Apple is willing to strike a deal with Kia Motors. The news even suggests this deal might even happen. This seems so real because of the statement from the Chairman of Hyundai. He says that “mobility is the future of the company”. And Kia is one of their subsidiary company to manufacture cars.

If the deal between Apple and Hyundai-Kia happens, we might see Apple taking over the car. And Hyundai is willing to give Apple the full rights to develop a vehicle with its brand name rather than Kia. To get to see all this, we have to wait and watch for Apple’s official announcement.
