For the better way of testing YouTube changed its strategy: premium users got access to test their experimental products in the development environment according to android-central. Usually, Google tests random beta users, but YouTube is experimenting with its loyal users before it rollouts the new features.
Features:
As of now, Google is currently testing mainly three new features. The first is the voice search on the desktop web (limited to chrome), where it is limited to mobile devices. It’s good to see Google finally bringing that over. For iOS, the only feature is the ability to watch a video from the YouTube home screen and listen to the voice over the lock screen too. Finally, Google is testing “Filter by topic in additional languages”, additional language support for filtered topics. The voice search and language tests may be rolled out more widely.
“For a limited time, Premium members can try out new features that we’re working on. Share your feedback to help us build a better YouTube”, You Tube’s experimental page now reads.
Manage membership:
YouTube Premium is giving a 1-month free trial and it ends on Nov 26th, 2020, then after it costs Rs.129/month for Individual membership. But if you choose Family membership (Rs.189/month), that One subscription gives you and 5 family members (13+) in the same household access to all YouTube Premium features. YouTube Premium gives you ad-free viewing, background play, and access to YouTube Music, among other features. If you’re a YouTube lover, acquire that limited-time access to new features that may be worth it.
